A great week! Lots of sales!

It has been a great week! I have lots of good news to share! It was a sales rush from galleries! Oracle, Freedom of Speech and another mysterious piece, one of the masks, have gone to new homes. Thank you so much! You can check if there are any galleries near you in the About page on my website here.

Also some smaller pieces have found new homes from my Etsy shop as well as directly! Thank you so much! Today I will share the photos of those sold from galleries, except for the mysterious one! We are still guessing! :D

And a nice lady in the Netherlands sent me a message that her Hope has finally arrived at her home safely! She had a long journey by car. How wonderful is that! Thank you so much! And a little bird told me that it's her birthday! Very happy birthday! :)

New pieces in the gallery

Last Sunday, we went to Sunbury Embroidery gallery to replace Freedom and Hope, which were sold to an lovely lady in the US, with new works. We also took another Answer was in the box with us, as there werer two people who wanted the one in the gallery. Whilst we were there, a third person who wanted it appeared. There are never enough!

The new pieces in the gallery are Faun and another Freedom.

It was a cold day, but early cherry had flowers in the walled garden.

For lunch, we went to Hampton court. We wanted to have a supper on PV night, but we didn't have time then. So we were delighted that we were finally there. There are lots of eateries there.

We went to a family run Italian restaurant. I entertained waiters with my Italian with a Japanese accent. On the same road, there is The Fountain Gallery, run by artists. My friends, Stephanie Wilkinson and Tessa Pearson show their works regularly.

Oppsite to it, there was a pub with Victroian building nicely refurbished.

We came back home about 4, and took dogs for a walk, then I napped. Within 16 hours, I had slept 13 hours!

Where the wind blows, Hope and Freedom

Hello. Beautiful sunshine came back. I am so glad. I thought our summer was over as soon as I put our winter clothes away!

Our house is full of boxes. In order to solve the space problem in our little car, I got Really useful boxes from the loft, and emptied the contents, our winter clothes, into bin liners(!) and packed loose delicate works. They are stackable, so I hope this will save some space.

Some of my pieces are really difficult to pack. As you know, I sell online, so I usually make something easy to ship. But for exhibitions, shows and art fair, I enjoy creating more free style pieces. This, of course, causes some headache and heart break when I have to pack them.

Where the wind blows. She is attached to a steel rod. This caused such a problem. But Mike with his great engineering brain, came up with solution. I hope she will be intact.

I love this angle.

Hope
She comes with Travertine plinth, which is attached to her feet. This requires a careful balancing act. The real problem is her arm and little flowers on her head. Lots of bubble wraps are strategically placed around her.

Freedom
She was even more difficult to pack. She is too tall for most boxes in our house. Her arm is sticking out quite a lot. Travertine plinth is also attached. In the end, she went to a box without a lid and then to a Really useful box. Her arm is sticking out from the box!

I hope all will make it to Teddington. Fingers crossed!
