Here are a 360 degree show for you. : ) (A shame about the reflection of the Georgian style windows. )
Test piece-1 |
I like this swish! |
We are glaze-firing tomorrow, and I have another test piece in it. I hope it will come out as bright as this one!
Oh, today my Canon EOS was delivered. Mike recommended the model for beginners ( the cheapest one!); there are more than enough functions for my use, he said. I hope I can shoot the better photos of my work with it. I haven't really looked at it yet because I have been busy with glazing today. I will let Mike read the instruction, and explain it to me. Hahaha. ( I can hear some unfamiliar beeping from downstairs. I bet he is playing with it right now!)
This is a great piece. I can imagine your brush sweeping over the form. Very nice marks.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Patricia. I feel like doing calligraphy again!
DeleteMarvelous Yunomi! Strokes of a brush are so dynamic! Midori means "green 緑" in Japanese.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Thank you, Keiko. When a test piece comes out good, I feel optimistic about the rest, but ironically the test pieces are often the best! Yes, 'midori' means the colour, green, phonetically, but my name means a beautiful homeland in Japanese/Chinese characters. : )
DeleteSuper yunomi, nice vibrant colors. I sometimes take photos outside in the shade and can avoid shadows that way.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. I have tried outside during summer. The sky reflected on my glossy chameleon! lol It's now too cold to be out doing that(freezing here). I have to re-make a simple photo booth, I guess. : (
